We believe the covenant of marriage is one of God’s greatest gifts to His children and are committed to supporting your journey towards marriage.

To support couples desiring to be united in marriage, we allow the following protocols to guide wedding planning and preparation at the church:

1. Applicants wishing to have a ceremony performed by the Pastor or the Pastor’s designee from the Church’s ministerial team, or to use church facilities, and are aligned with our Affirmation of Marriage, must first complete the marriage application below.
2. Only duly ordained clergy shall officiate marriage ceremonies conducted on Church property, or on behalf of, or as a representative of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
3. Applicants wishing to have a ceremony performed by the Pastor or the Pastor’s designee from the Church’s ministerial team, or to use church facilities, must align with Pleasant Grove’s Affirmation of Marriage statement.

Applicants wishing to have a ceremony performed by the Pastor or a designee, from the Church’s ministerial team, or to use church facilities must receive premarital counseling/coaching sessions by the Pastor or the Pastor’s designee, from the Church’s ministerial team, or other person(s), whom the Pastor or a designee, from the Church’s ministerial team determine have appropriate training, experience, and spiritual understanding to provide such services.
